The difference….

The difference. When I drive to Walmart, I get very irritated by the slow driver in front of me. Who won’t make the right turn, or who will drive slowly right next to the other person on the two lane road, also driving slowly and preventing me from getting around them. I used to call them mean names but not anymore. Goofball is the most you’ll get out of me now. Once I get to Walmart, the people in the store standing in the middle of an aisle with their cart blocking the way. In these COVID times, people not adhering to the distance properly, or wearing their mask underneath their nose. All these things are irritating. Sometimes just the sheer amount of people milling around the store is enough to cause irritation. You may go there on your lunch break mid day and there are people there with school aged children. You ask yourself, “why aren’t these people at work and school”? I know I’m not the only one that feels these things, I’ve heard comedians like Bill Burr express the same sentiment, so it’s a natural feeling to have. You look at that picture, those people, and they may be in your way, moving slow, being a bother, but when you REALLY look at them, you understand that those people are just like you. They have children they are trying to take care of, or elderly parents they care for. Someone loves them and they love someone else. That same comedian Bill Burr made a comedy special titled, “You people are all the same”. That’s a very true statement. We are all the same. So even though at times people may get on our nerves, we realize they are still people, and as such we have a degree of love for them. We want them healthy, doing well, and not suffering…. even strangers. The difference between us and the so-called elites, is that they don’t have that feeling of empathy or concern for other human beings. They have called us “useless eaters”, and they have a belief and ambition toward population control. People are a commodity to them only meant to be used and to further increase their riches. They don’t have compassion for them, their loved ones, or their life struggle. We are so divided by race, religion, and other differences, but we are all in the same boat and situation. None of us are free. In America, even if you pay your mortgage off, you still have to pay property taxes or the home and the land it is on will be taken away from you. That means you must constantly have a source of income. The social security most people get at retirement age is not enough to support themselves with housing, food, and any hobbies which they should be entitled to. You have to report taxes every year and you cannot drive a vehicle without paying the registration. The chains of control have long been set in place and we have yet to stop it. I hear Americans yelling about communism. I don’t believe communism is the answer, but neither is capitalism. Capitalism is rooted in greed and the love of money, which is the root of all evil. For capitalism to work, someone has to be the low man, and someone has to be the high man. Sure, there are stories of people coming from low to high, but the average person is not able to do these things. A person who is a gas station clerk, or McDonalds employee, does not make enough money to maintain an apartment, pay for a vehicle and it’s associated fees, or get any type of enjoyment out of life. Yet the CEO is off golfing and eating catered meals every day. How is that fair? Often times the man in the blue collar position has more intelligence and common sense than the CEO. “High level” people will steal the ideas and inventions of “lower level” people and profit on it, only to leave the originator destitute and lacking. Something has to change. A hispanic man I worked with once said to me he doesn’t understand why people in America don’t revolt. That time is probably coming soon and I believe at that time the powers that be will fully show their hand. The prophecy of Hermes is unfolding…….

THE PROPHECY OF HERMES

There will come a time when it will have been in vain that Egyptians have honored the Godhead with heartfelt piety and service; and all our holy worship will be fruitless and ineffectual. The Gods will return from earth to heaven; Egypt will be forsaken, and the land which was once the home of religion will be left desolate, bereft of the presence of its deities.

They will no longer love this world around us, this incomparable work of God, this glorious structure which he has built, this sum of good made up of many diverse forms, this instrument whereby the will of God operates in that which he has made, ungrudgingly favoring man’s welfare.

Darkness will be preferred to light, and death will be thought more profitable than life; no one will raise his eyes to heaven; the pious will be deemed insane, the impious wise; the madman will be thought a brave man, and the wicked will be esteemed as good.

As for the soul, and the belief that it is immortal by nature, or may hope to attain to immortality, as I have taught you; all this they will mock, and even persuade themselves that it is false. No word of reverence or piety, no utterance worthy of heaven, will be heard or believed.

And so the Gods will depart from mankind – a grievous thing and only evil angels will remain, who will mingle with men, and drive the poor wretches into all manner of reckless crime, into wars, and robberies, and frauds, and all things hostile to the nature of the soul.

Then will the earth tremble, and the sea bear no ships; heaven will not support the stars in their orbits, all voices of the Gods will be forced into silence; the fruits of the Earth will rot; the soil will turn barren, and the very air will sicken with sullen stagnation; all things will be disordered and awry, all good will disappear.

But when all this has befallen, then God the Creator of all things will look on that which has come to pass, and will stop the disorder by the counterforce of his will, which is the good. He will call back to the right path those who have gone astray; he will cleanse the world of evil, washing it away with floods, burning it out with the fiercest fire, and expelling it with war and pestilence.

Guard your mind….

So it’s become more apparent to me that the human mind is the prized possession in this corner of the Universe. Do your diligent research into “MK Ultra”. Your mind is like a blank slate or a blank table. Imagine for a moment you were sitting at an empty table. And someone slid a picture of a nude woman onto that table. You could take that picture and run off to the bathroom and masturbate to it, or you could somehow relate it to the pretty girl that lives across the street and start devising a scheme to sneak up on her and violate her. This is how the mind is used and attacked. Whether you call it “the devil”, the darkness brothers, or evil, they are able to inject images or thoughts into a human beings mind in order to attempt to get you to react on them. The key is that you don’t have to react on them. That’s what free will is all about. Human beings have been tricked into believing that every thought that passes their mind is indeed their own or generated by they themselves. When people have an understanding that their minds can be assaulted by outside forces, then they would be able to combat those forces. That picture might not be that of a naked woman, it might be that of you being a big time drug dealer, or of you as a married executive businessman, forcing relations onto your subordinate secretary. Human beings have to deal with their own capacity for wickedness alone, but also realize that outside forces can interact with your thought process as well. Your mind and thoughts are simply on a certain frequency. Frequency is something in the air, satan is called the prince of the air. Guard your mind and only move on what is good.

December Update – Quick Tings!

Hi there reader! So it’s been a minute but I’m still alive so far. COVID hasn’t taken me out nor has some other stroke of misfortune. Money is pretty tight but who isn’t it like that for these days? Working from home all day drives the electric bill up, and you tend to eat more out of the fridge throughout the day when you’re constantly at home. Free coffee in the office versus having to brew a cup every morning is actually ends up a negative to your bank account. Also you drink more of your bottled water throughout the day among other things. So I was going to sell my Numark Scratch, but I saw someone ask DJ Qbert how many DJ mixers he has and he said 18! I figured if he can have 18 lord forbid I have a measly 2. So I am keeping it. It’s a nice mixer and Numark really packed a lot into the package for such a low price. Mine has an Innofader Pro in it, which cuts a lot tighter than the standard mini Innofader they come with. I’m going to put a Innofader PNP2 into it when I get the chips to purchase another one. I have the PNP2 in my Reloop Elite right now. In other news there are some family members and family friends that are sick. It sucks and facing mortality is never fun. I pray for them and hope they get well, but with my sister in law, if she passes on, it will putmy wife’s mom in a real bad predicament. In that house is my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and her son. Her son is older, but he doesn’t work much for whatever reason. Some people might say that’s being shiftless but I’m starting to believe the matrix program hasn’t taken hold of his brain like it has other people. They got me so bad I actually feel guilty when I’m not working. Anyway if my sister in law ascends, then it would be hard for her mom and her son to keep the place they are in now. So many people don’t have cushions or nest eggs or life insurance policies. They can’t afford that. It really sucks that we are born, we live, we work work work, then we die and often it leaves someone else in a jam be it with your bills or just not having your income anymore. I don’t think that’s how the good Lord intended for us to be living. When the Bible says to work 6 days and rest the 7th, those people in that time were tilling their own farm land and taking care of their own households. That was their “work”. This capitalism bs has got it all twisted and it’s founded in greed. I appreciate all the benefits of technology like DJ mixers and turntables and computers, but I think we could have attained all these things as a species, without breaking the backs of those allotted a lower position in society. They put nets around the warehouse where those Chinese people work so when they jump out they bounce right back into the window back into the assembly line. Well, maybe it doesn’t do that, but it keeps them from killing themselves. What does that say about things when you have to put up something like that? People are depressed, overworked, sleep deprived, angry, sad, and spiritually zapped a lot of times. Something has to give. The Hermetic prophecy has already been spoken, so we know how it ends, but to live in these times, it’s very rough. I wish I could live to see when God stamps out evil, and people return to the light and to God. Til next time…..

Latest news (DJ related)

So two things recently. I finally got a hold of an Innofader PNP 2 to go into my Reloop Elite mixer. It’s the “red dot” version so it will work with the Elite. I got one before but it was an older version that won’t work. You need the one with the red sticker on the package to denote it’s the newer version. It’s a dope crossfader and it’s really made scratching even more fun. It was easy to install once I understood how to configure it properly. Second thing is I also got my second Gemini PT 2000 II turntable fixed finally. Shoutouts to Repair DJ Gear in Orange County, CA for hooking that up. It’s a great repair shop and Scott does excellent work. Wherever you are in the USA you can send your equipment to him and he’ll fix it. Do a Google search for them. My brother gave me those two Gemini decks as a gift and they both were messed up after trying to calibrate them while following erroneous directions. I have two Audio Technica 1240XP decks as my main decks, but it’s nice to have two classic decks like the Gemini’s as backups. They are missing their feet, but they work fine without them. They are great decks and are good for all kinds of turntablism. If you pick some up, make sure to get some Dr. Suzuki Skratch slipmats to go with them. When all I had was the Gemini decks, getting those Suzuki mats made them seem like new turntables. Before I thought they may be underpowered for scratching, but proper slipmats changed all that. Well that’s it. COVID is still popping off and the world has gone crazy. Nero played the fiddle while Rome burned… I’ve decided I’ll mix and scratch. Peace and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

A Dicey situation

So I’m using a new method to help practice scratching. I write down different scratch techniques on a piece of paper and label them 1 thru 6. Then I roll two dice and whatever numbers it lands on, I do that appropriate scratch off the piece of paper, which gives me two scratches to practice combining together. It’s working pretty well so far and this is only day two of using the technique. I’ve come to realize that scratching is like learning. Think about how long it takes a human to learn anything and be very good at it. A few years at least. I’ve been DJing since September of 2018 and seriously alittle less time. The good news is that us humans are amazing and in 3 years we can do amazing things. Don’t believe me? Check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3875jSXk0s&ab_channel=NDTV

He was sick right? Well that’s about how long it takes to get really good at something.. so put in the time, be patient, and keep working at it. Peace.

Shure M447 vs. Ortofon OM Qbert !!

So these are two very good DJ cartridges/needles. The Shure M447 is legendary and has been a mainstay for turntablism DJs for a long time now. It’s knack for holding the groove is the stuff of legends and it’s proven it’s worth at many a DJ competition throughout the world. The Ortofon OM Qbert is not as old and storied as the M447, but it’s no slouch of a DJ cart itself. When I first got a set I didn’t set them up properly and thus they seemingly didn’t perform as well as my M447s. However, if you secure them to the headshell deathly tight, calibrate your tonearm weight properly, they will hold that groove just as good as the Shure M447. Now spec wise, in terms of output, the OM Qbert is a “louder” cart at 10-11mV compared to the M447s 9mV. That difference is really negligible, especially when you’re running it on Phono output. To me the key difference between these two carts, is the needle cutout on the OM Qbert, and lack thereof on the M447. When you’re using analog vinyl, it’s hard to see the groove you’re dropping the M447 needle into. With the OM Qberts, when looking down on it, you can see exactly which groove you’re dropping the needle into, which during fast and furious mixing, can be a lifesaver. Now I’ll be honest, with the M447, you eventually get a feel for where the needle is on the stylus head, so it’s not THAT big of a deal. For a new DJ not used to either though, I’d say the OM Qbert will be easier to work with analog vinyl on. The Shure M447 cart is discontinued, as is it’s needle, but Jico makes great replacements for the M447. They sell a version with the “guard” on it and it looks just like the original. The OM Qbert still has needles being produced by Ortofon. The only other worthwhile note is that the M447 with Jico stylii is set to track at about 4 to 4.5grams whereas the OM Qbert gets down at 3g. That means that the OM Qbert will be a lot easier on your vinyl in the long run. At the end of the day it’s a matter of preference and really what you like looking at on your decks. Do you like the flatter, fatter look of the M447 with it’s guard hovering over your spinning vinyl, or do you like the sleeker look of the OM Qbert and the ability to see the groove you’re dropping into very easily? Either one will work well for playing music or turntablism. It’s harder to find a Shure M447 at a decent price these days. Right now they are going on Amazon.com for $300+ dollars and ebay isn’t much better. You can get lucky at times and find a steal for some, but you gotta keep an eye out. The OM Qberts are at $79 no matter where you go, so that’s another thing to keep in mind. Good luck and happy Djing!

Tighten that DJ Cart!!!

So I got a great deal on some Shure M447s a while back. It was two carts for about $80 which if you know anything about how Shure M447s prices have been being gouged lately, that’s a steal of a deal. I decided to try out the Ortofon Qberts, but I kept having problems with both when trying to beat juggle. The needle would end up skipping and with control vinyl, it would start drifting toward the outer edge of the vinyl/platter. I finally realized recently that the screws and nuts I was using for the carts I have were not being tight enough. I found a nut or two that would tighten the Ortofon OM Qbert cart to the point where it was rock solid and immovable on the headshell. Once I did that, the drifting to the outer edge issue went away completely. The cart is more stable and it does not skip. It’s a night and day difference. No matter what I did with the previous screws/nuts, it would not get extremely tight so I thought that was how all carts were. That’s not the case and you want it so tight you can’t move the cart on the headshell not even a centimeter. I’m pretty happy with the Ortofon OM Qberts now and see no need to get the Ortofon VNLs that are releasing soon. They look like Shure M447 clones but they don’t have as high an output as the Shures. Between the OM Qberts and the Shure M447s with Jico Stylii, I’m good on carts for the forseeable future. I even have some Ortofon OM Pro S carts for backup. Long story short, get those carts secured as tight as possible and work from there. If you need better screws/washers/nuts, check out your local Home Depot or at worst, Amazon.com. Perhaps on one of my pages I’ll put directions on how to properly set up a DJ turntable for turntablist DJing. Peace and stay up!

Physical Fitness

Hey what’s up? Happy Friday! So I’ve decided I really want to buckle down and get in peak physical condition. I’m already doing crunches/situps as well as pushups, walking, lifting weights, and other calisthenics. I need to reign my diet in though. I gotta stop eating Twizzlers, Happy Cherries, and the occasional bag of Flaming Hot Cheetos. I don’t eat that stuff all the time, but I want to cut it out completely. I’ve also started messing with drinking soda again after leaving it alone for a long time. Gotta get rid of that again too. I’d like to get to a point of shape where I could go play some basketball and really get busy once this COVID mess subsides. I’ve been able to quit smoking and vaping so my lungs and heart are ready for me to really start pushing the limit. I’m concerned about running too much on the concrete because that is very bad for your knees. I’d like to start swimming and use the elliptical mainly for my cardio. Time will tell, but I’m going to start punching things into high gear fitness wise. I’m decently fit now, but I wanna get pro-athlete shape. Peace and stay up!

Dj Gear Fixed!!

So my DJ gear problems have been resolved… by me! So basically, the Numark Scratch mixer had a problem with it’s fader which I was trying to get a replacement for but none would ever work in it. I realized the issue is most likely the connector cable that goes from the Scratch motheroard to the crossfader. I was able to solder together two wire sets and use it in the mixer. I was able to get that fixed and now the crossfader works in the Numark Scratch mixer. I also got one of my mini Innofader Pros to work in the Ch2 fader position of the Reloop Elite mixer. Even thought the Scratch is my secondary mixer, it was important to me to have it be in good working order and cutting properly with the crossfader. Both mixers work fine now and I don’t need to have a replacement fader sent out to me. Just calibrated the Innofaders and they work fine now. Again as I said, the main thing with the Scratch mixer was that bad cable. I plan on putting up a video showing people how to make that cable if needed and how to calibrate the Innofaders on my Youtube channel. I’m mixing and scratching on the Numark Scratch right now and it’s working great. Peace out and it sucks how fast this weekend flew by. Back to work on Monday yet again. It could be worse though. L8r!!

Mixer Troubles

Long time no see. Sorry I haven’t updated lately. Been busy with work and life. Anyway, I had some trouble with my Reloop Elite mixer recently. The channel 2 fader is having issues, well actually it was the cross fader, so I swapped the channel 2 fader to the crossfader position, then I put a mini Innofader standard from my Numark Scratch into the channel 2 fader position on the Elite. It works fine but if I turn the mixer off, it won’t boot up with the Innofader standard in it. I have to get a mini Innofader Pro to replace the channel 2 fader with I think. It really sucks and it seems like any old fader won’t do or work in the Reloop Elite. That’s kind of disappointing. The Innofader Pro is great and it’s only $50 bucks on Amazon, but if I wanted to use an Innofader Pro 2 I can’t use it it seems and the PNP 2 you have to have a certain one. One with the red sticker on the package. Anyway it’s been quite an ordeal dealing with this and I spent all of Friday evening messing around with it trying to get it fixed. I tried messaging Sweetwater to see if they’d send me a replacement fader but they are not answering too quickly. It’s the weekend for them so I’m not surprised. Well I got the mixer working (kinda) for now so I’ll just rock with it I guess. Peace and I’ll post what Sweetwater says about getting me a new fader. L8z!
