The difference….

The difference. When I drive to Walmart, I get very irritated by the slow driver in front of me. Who won’t make the right turn, or who will drive slowly right next to the other person on the two lane road, also driving slowly and preventing me from getting around them. I used to call them mean names but not anymore. Goofball is the most you’ll get out of me now. Once I get to Walmart, the people in the store standing in the middle of an aisle with their cart blocking the way. In these COVID times, people not adhering to the distance properly, or wearing their mask underneath their nose. All these things are irritating. Sometimes just the sheer amount of people milling around the store is enough to cause irritation. You may go there on your lunch break mid day and there are people there with school aged children. You ask yourself, “why aren’t these people at work and school”? I know I’m not the only one that feels these things, I’ve heard comedians like Bill Burr express the same sentiment, so it’s a natural feeling to have. You look at that picture, those people, and they may be in your way, moving slow, being a bother, but when you REALLY look at them, you understand that those people are just like you. They have children they are trying to take care of, or elderly parents they care for. Someone loves them and they love someone else. That same comedian Bill Burr made a comedy special titled, “You people are all the same”. That’s a very true statement. We are all the same. So even though at times people may get on our nerves, we realize they are still people, and as such we have a degree of love for them. We want them healthy, doing well, and not suffering…. even strangers. The difference between us and the so-called elites, is that they don’t have that feeling of empathy or concern for other human beings. They have called us “useless eaters”, and they have a belief and ambition toward population control. People are a commodity to them only meant to be used and to further increase their riches. They don’t have compassion for them, their loved ones, or their life struggle. We are so divided by race, religion, and other differences, but we are all in the same boat and situation. None of us are free. In America, even if you pay your mortgage off, you still have to pay property taxes or the home and the land it is on will be taken away from you. That means you must constantly have a source of income. The social security most people get at retirement age is not enough to support themselves with housing, food, and any hobbies which they should be entitled to. You have to report taxes every year and you cannot drive a vehicle without paying the registration. The chains of control have long been set in place and we have yet to stop it. I hear Americans yelling about communism. I don’t believe communism is the answer, but neither is capitalism. Capitalism is rooted in greed and the love of money, which is the root of all evil. For capitalism to work, someone has to be the low man, and someone has to be the high man. Sure, there are stories of people coming from low to high, but the average person is not able to do these things. A person who is a gas station clerk, or McDonalds employee, does not make enough money to maintain an apartment, pay for a vehicle and it’s associated fees, or get any type of enjoyment out of life. Yet the CEO is off golfing and eating catered meals every day. How is that fair? Often times the man in the blue collar position has more intelligence and common sense than the CEO. “High level” people will steal the ideas and inventions of “lower level” people and profit on it, only to leave the originator destitute and lacking. Something has to change. A hispanic man I worked with once said to me he doesn’t understand why people in America don’t revolt. That time is probably coming soon and I believe at that time the powers that be will fully show their hand. The prophecy of Hermes is unfolding…….

THE PROPHECY OF HERMES

There will come a time when it will have been in vain that Egyptians have honored the Godhead with heartfelt piety and service; and all our holy worship will be fruitless and ineffectual. The Gods will return from earth to heaven; Egypt will be forsaken, and the land which was once the home of religion will be left desolate, bereft of the presence of its deities.

They will no longer love this world around us, this incomparable work of God, this glorious structure which he has built, this sum of good made up of many diverse forms, this instrument whereby the will of God operates in that which he has made, ungrudgingly favoring man’s welfare.

Darkness will be preferred to light, and death will be thought more profitable than life; no one will raise his eyes to heaven; the pious will be deemed insane, the impious wise; the madman will be thought a brave man, and the wicked will be esteemed as good.

As for the soul, and the belief that it is immortal by nature, or may hope to attain to immortality, as I have taught you; all this they will mock, and even persuade themselves that it is false. No word of reverence or piety, no utterance worthy of heaven, will be heard or believed.

And so the Gods will depart from mankind – a grievous thing and only evil angels will remain, who will mingle with men, and drive the poor wretches into all manner of reckless crime, into wars, and robberies, and frauds, and all things hostile to the nature of the soul.

Then will the earth tremble, and the sea bear no ships; heaven will not support the stars in their orbits, all voices of the Gods will be forced into silence; the fruits of the Earth will rot; the soil will turn barren, and the very air will sicken with sullen stagnation; all things will be disordered and awry, all good will disappear.

But when all this has befallen, then God the Creator of all things will look on that which has come to pass, and will stop the disorder by the counterforce of his will, which is the good. He will call back to the right path those who have gone astray; he will cleanse the world of evil, washing it away with floods, burning it out with the fiercest fire, and expelling it with war and pestilence.
